Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have both submitted verbal contract offers for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, according to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu. Reports indicate that both clubs are prepared to activate Osimhen’s €75 million release clause, making a summer move increasingly likely.
Sabuncuoglu, speaking to Turkish outlet Haber Sari Kirmizi, revealed that Osimhen is in the process of signing with a world-renowned management company, with a Real Madrid player reportedly facilitating the discussions. This development has significantly reduced the chances of the striker remaining at Galatasaray beyond June.
Despite Galatasaray’s attempt to secure Osimhen on a permanent deal by offering €65 million to Napoli, the bid was rejected by the Italian club. With PSG and Manchester United willing to meet the release clause, Galatasaray is unlikely to compete financially for the 26-year-old forward.
Osimhen has been in outstanding form during his loan spell at the Turkish giants, scoring 17 goals and providing five assists in 23 appearances across all competitions. His performances have further solidified his reputation as one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers.
As the summer transfer window approaches, the battle for Osimhen’s signature is expected to intensify, with PSG and Manchester United both eager to strengthen their attacking options.
