President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is presently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting at the State House in Abuja. The President arrived at the Council Chamber at 1:20 PM to lead discussions with ministers and select presidential aides.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is absent from the meeting as he is on an official assignment in Dubai and is scheduled to travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for the lesser Hajj.

With only two weeks left in 2024, it remains unclear if this session will be the final FEC meeting of the year. However, significant deliberations are expected as the President prepares to present the 2025 Appropriation Bill to the National Assembly on Tuesday.
