Ondo State Governor Dissolves Executive Council

Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has announced the dissolution of the State Executive Council, effective immediately. This development was confirmed on Wednesday in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan.

While the entire cabinet has been dissolved, two key members have been exempted due to the critical nature of their duties:

  • Dr. Kayode Ajulo, SAN – Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice.
  • Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac – Commissioner for Finance.

The statement directed all affected cabinet members to hand over government properties in their possession to the accounting officers of their respective ministries.

Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed gratitude to the outgoing EXCO members for their dedication and contributions to the state’s development during their tenure. He also extended his best wishes for their future endeavors.

This major restructuring reflects Governor Aiyedatiwa’s efforts to reposition his administration for improved governance.
