In a groundbreaking achievement, American global music sensation Bruno Mars has become the first artist to surpass 150 million monthly listeners on Spotify. This historic feat cements his status as one of the most dominant figures in contemporary music.

Mars has maintained his position atop Spotify’s monthly listeners chart following the release of his latest singles, Die With A Smile featuring Lady Gaga and his collaboration on APT with ROSÉ. These songs mark his first releases since An Evening With Silk Sonic, his Grammy-winning project with Anderson .Paak in 2021.

Previously, Canadian star The Weeknd held the record for the highest number of monthly listeners, becoming the first artist to reach 100 million before extending it to 120 million. However, Bruno Mars has now shattered this milestone, reaching an unprecedented 150 million listeners.
