The highly anticipated Netflix series is officially in motion, following an exciting table read last week. After 18 months of development with talented writers Craig Freimond, Zeli Zulu, and Adze Ugah, the new season promises to be packed with drama.

Mo Abudu shared the news via social media, revealing that nearly all the beloved characters from the first season will make a comeback. Directed by Daniel Oriahi and Kayode Kasum, the second season will see Oriahi, known for his psychological thriller The Weekend, and Kasum, famous for Soole and Sugar Rush, bring their expertise to the show’s continuation.

Returning producers Inem King, Ted Abudu, Judith Audu, and James Amuta, along with the stellar cast featuring Ini Dima-Okojie, Nancy Isime, Deyemi Okanlawon, Genoveva Umeh, Kate Henshaw, and many more, are set to deliver yet another riveting storyline. The plot will follow best friends Sarah and Kemi, portrayed by Ini Dima-Okojie and Nancy Isime, as they continue to navigate the fallout from Kemi’s accidental killing of Sarah’s abusive fiancé, Kola.
