Nigerian music sensation Asake has been nominated for the Best International Act category at the 2025 Brit Awards, marking a significant milestone in his career. This nomination follows the success of his third album, Lungu Boy, released in 2024, which featured collaborations with prominent artists such as Wizkid, Stormzy, Central Cee, and Ludmila.

Asake is notably the only Nigerian artist nominated this year and is making his second appearance at the Brit Awards after receiving a nomination in 2024.

In the Best International Act category, Asake will face tough competition from global superstars including Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, and Benson Boone. The award ceremony is set to take place on March 1, 2025, at London’s iconic O2 Arena, hosted by Jack Whitehall.
