Ogasabi and 9AM News Nigeria: Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid Lead 2024 AAEA Nominations
Ogasabi and 9AM News Nigeria report that Nigerian music superstars Davido, Burna Boy, and Wizkid have received the highest nominations for the 2024 Africa Arts Entertainments Awards (AAEA). Davido leads with twelve nominations, followed by Burna Boy with ten, and Wizkid with seven.
The three artists are competing in several categories, including AAEA Best Continental Male Artiste and AAEA Continental Artiste of the Year. Other ace singers, such as Rema, Tems, Omah Lay, Yemi Alade, Asake, Tiwa Savage, Simi Kosoko, Majeed, Lojay, Ayra Starr, and Kizz Daniel, have also received nominations.
The AAEA celebrates African music artists’ achievements, honoring their talents and success. Award categories include Best Continental Male Artiste, Continental Artiste of the Year, Continental Album/EP of the Year, Best Continental Int’l Feature, Best Continental Afro RnB Hit, and Best Continental Afro Rap Fusion Hit, among others.
