Directed by Moshood Abiola Obatula, Agemo follows the journey of Agatha, a character navigating a dangerous, mystical world. The film, a supernatural feature, delves into the harsh realities and societal challenges faced by women, shedding light on manipulation, power dynamics, and the consequences of exploiting the vulnerable.

Onuoha, a fast-rising actress, has made her mark with notable performances in Inside Life (2022), If I Am President (2018), and Blood Sisters (2022). Agemo further cements her talent and versatility as a leading actress in Nollywood.

The first-look pictures of Agemo were released in December 2023, with the full release scheduled for later this year. Esther Olayinka, the film’s writer, assembled a stellar cast alongside Onuoha, including Raphael Ayara, Joe Kosoko, Yinka Quadri, Mojisola Afolayan, Kola Olaiya, Lawal Aramide Pabira, and Darasimi Madi.

Onuoha’s performance in Agemo has not only captivated audiences but also highlighted her as one of Nollywood’s most promising talents, bringing depth to a powerful story about resilience and the fight against oppression.
