With this milestone, Tyla becomes the second African artist to surpass 1 billion Spotify streams, following Rema, who achieved the feat in 2024 with his global smash hit ‘Calm Down’ featuring Selena Gomez.

‘Water’ enjoyed an impressive run on the Billboard Hot 100, where the remix featuring Travis Scott peaked at No. 7 and spent 29 weeks on the chart.
