Reality TV star and Disc Jockey, Tolani Baj, has shared details about her work experience in the United States and why she decided to move back to Nigeria.
In a series of throwback posts on Snapchat, the Big Brother Naija alumna revealed that she struggled with the 9-to-5 job culture abroad and constantly looked forward to returning home during the festive season.
“I hated working a 9-5 in America so bad. I would spend months counting down to Detty December, God Abeg. My everyday thoughts,” she wrote.
Tolani Baj explained that while living in the U.S., she often thought about quitting her job and resettling in Nigeria, where she felt much happier and more at ease.
According to the 9am News report, she admitted that the decision wasn’t an easy one, as she was frequently torn between staying abroad for stability and returning home for peace of mind. Ultimately, Nigeria felt like the better choice for her career and lifestyle.
Her revelation has sparked conversations among fans about the struggles of Nigerians in the diaspora and the challenges of balancing career opportunities abroad with personal happiness.
