The annual event celebrates women making remarkable contributions across various fields in Africa, with Tiwa Savage recognised for her exceptional impact in media and entertainment.

The music star received the prestigious award alongside other influential Nigerian women, including World Trade Organization (WTO) Director-General Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, singer and artist Nissi Ogulu, former Nigeria Security and Exchange Commission boss Dr. Arunmah Oteh, and Eniola Shokunbi.
