President Bola Tinubu has appointed Muhammad Babangida, son of Nigeria’s former military President, as the new Chairman of the revamped Bank of Agriculture.
This was confirmed in a statement released by presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga, who revealed that the President also approved the appointment of eight others as Chairmen or Director-Generals of various federal agencies.
Babangida, 53, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Relations and Business Communication from the European University in Montreux, Switzerland. He also completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Program on Corporate Governance in 2002.
The appointment is part of Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to restructure strategic government institutions to align with his Renewed Hope Agenda.
