Popular Nigerian TikTok influencer, Streamer Peller, has opened up about his journey as a content creator, revealing that he once worked as a carpenter before finding success on social media, 9am news reports.

Speaking in an interview on Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka, Peller, whose real name is Habeeb Hamzat, disclosed that he earns an average of ₦20 million per week from TikTok live sessions.

Addressing speculations that he makes as much as ₦200 million, Peller clarified, “Some people say it’s ₦200 million, but let me not lie, it’s not.” He explained that his revenue primarily comes from live sessions and that a shift in his content strategy significantly increased his earnings.

“I used to be money-focused, but I changed my strategy. Now, I make more money just by talking differently,” he said.

Recalling a surprising moment in his career, Peller shared that he once made $10,000 (approximately ₦14 million) in a single TikTok live session, a significant jump from his usual $7,000–$8,000.

“I don’t do live sessions every day because you don’t want people to see your face too much. I go live three times a week, and in a week, I make around ₦20 million on average,” he added.

Despite TikTok taking a percentage of earnings, Streamer Peller’s massive success highlights the growing opportunities for Nigerian content creators on social media.
