The Promise Land festival, set for October 4–6, 2024, will feature Nigeria’s top music superstars alongside international icons. Nigerian musicians are using international music festivals to showcase Afrobeats to a global audience through captivating live performances.
The promise land festival will boast a star-studded lineup, including Nigerian sensations Rema, Asake, and Omah Lay. On the second day, Rema will take the stage alongside Miguel, Fiji, and Jorja Smith, while Asake and Omah Lay will close the event with performances alongside Busta Rhymes.
Other Nigerian stars, including Sarz, Victony, Ruger, Tiwa Savage, Shallipopi, Compozers, and BNXN, will also grace the Promise Land stage. The lineup further showcases a diverse range of African talent, with performers like Black Sherif, King Promise, DBN Gogo, Major League DJz, Young Stunna, and Uncle Waffles.
The strong presence of Afrobeats artists at the festival highlights the genre’s global expansion. Nigerian stars have made significant strides, winning major awards and performing at some of the world’s biggest music festivals. In 2023, Afrobeats gained further international acclaim, inspiring the creation of the Grammy Best African Music Performance category, with South African star Tyla taking home the inaugural award.
