Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, confidently predicted a decisive All Progressives Congress (APC) win in the upcoming November 16 local government elections. Through his Special Adviser on Media and Communications, Kayode Akinmade, Abiodun highlighted that the APC’s consistent performance and impactful projects would lead to a strong showing across the state’s 20 local government areas (LGAs), leaving little room for opposition visibility.
APC’s Development-Driven Approach
Abiodun attributed the APC’s expected success to his administration’s achievements over the past five years. He emphasized a strategy focused on innovative development initiatives rather than intimidation tactics, which he stated have rendered opposition efforts insignificant.
“Our administration has obviously silenced the opposition with our intimidating projects, creative ideas, and prudent governance, giving us a clear advantage,” Abiodun noted.
Call for Unity and Commitment
The governor called on APC members across the state to rally together to maintain the progress achieved over the last five years and ensure a landslide victory on election day. “It is now incumbent on every APC member across the 20 local government areas to sustain the enviable feats our party has recorded… by showing more commitment and working in unison,” he said.
With the governor’s assurance of a peaceful elections environment, the stage is set for a closely watched local government poll in Ogun State.
