Nigeria international winger Moses Simon has officially completed his transfer to Paris FC from Ligue 1 side Nantes, in a deal reportedly worth €7 million, making him the French club’s first signing of the summer window.

This was confirmed by reputable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who shared the update on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, June 17.

“Moses Simon has just completed his medical at Paris FC today after deal done with Nantes for €7m,” Romano posted.

Sources confirm that the 29-year-old Super Eagles star successfully underwent his medical earlier in the day, effectively sealing the move. An official unveiling by Paris FC is expected shortly.

The former Levante winger was initially linked with a summer switch to Premier League side Everton, but he has opted to continue his career in France a league he knows well and where he has already made his mark.

A Productive Spell at Nantes

Simon began his journey with Nantes in 2019, joining on loan from La Liga’s Levante. His impactful performances earned him a permanent deal the following season.

Over his five seasons with the Canaries, Simon made 151 league appearances, scoring 28 goals and providing several assists. He was also instrumental in Nantes’ 2021/22 Coupe de France triumph under then-coach Antoine Kombouaré, a career highlight that endeared him to fans.

Simon’s transfer is seen as a strategic boost for Paris FC, who are aiming to strengthen their squad for a serious push in the coming season. Known for his pace, creativity, and experience at both club and international level, Simon is expected to bring leadership and firepower to the team’s attacking options.

His versatility on both wings and proven Ligue 1 pedigree make him a valuable addition to Paris FC’s setup as they aim for promotion and greater European relevance.
