The competition is back for its 2024 edition, following the tremendous success of last year’s event. This year, the stakes are high as the winner will walk away with ₦10 million in cash along with other exciting prizes, reflecting the pageant’s commitment to empowering Nigerian women.

In this edition, 25 contestants, including the newcomer Chidimma Adetshina, will represent various states across Nigeria. Last year’s winner, Mitchel Ihezue from Imo State, not only won the title but also went on to represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss Universe pageant in El Salvador. The 2024 winner will have a similar opportunity to represent Nigeria at the Miss Universe pageant in Mexico this November. Meanwhile, the runner-up will take part in the Miss Supranational pageant, further showcasing Nigeria’s talent on the global stage.

Arthur Ngwube, the Brand Manager of Silverbird Group, has revealed the official theme for this year’s competition: ‘Digital Divas.’ This theme underscores the increasing importance of digital presence and influence in today’s world. Ngwube encouraged the contestants to leverage technology, social media, and digital platforms in their pursuit of the crown, aligning with the modern era’s demands.

Anthony Abraham, the Camp Coordinator, shared insights into the week-long activities planned for the contestants at Festival Hotel Festac. These activities are designed to not only challenge but also enhance the delegates’ skills in various areas:

  • Pitch for Business Ideas: Delegates will present their innovative business ideas, fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship and creativity.
  • Fashion Show: A platform for delegates to showcase their fashion sense, highlighting the creativity of Nigerian fashion brands.
  • Tea Party: A refined social event aimed at promoting networking and building relationships among delegates and stakeholders.
