Greenwich Group Marks 30 Years of Excellence and Innovation

Greenwich Group celebrates 30 years of excellence, awarding N50 million posthumously to Sir Remi Omotosho and announcing future expansions into insurance and Fintech.

Greenwich Group recently celebrated its 30th anniversary, reflecting on three decades of success and innovation. The event was marked with gratitude towards customers, staff, and stakeholders who have contributed to its remarkable journey.

A highlight of the evening was a N50 million posthumous leadership award presented to the late (Sir) Remi Omotosho, a key figure in the company’s legacy. Awards were also given to staff members who demonstrated exceptional service, including Mrs. Yakashim Shettem, recipient of the prestigious Kayode Falowo Award for Excellence.

In his remarks, Chairman Kayode Falowo expressed gratitude to God, stakeholders, and employees. He revealed plans to expand into new business domains such as insurance, PFA, and Fintech, leveraging the Approval-In-Principle from the Central Bank of Nigeria to operate as a holding company. Falowo also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to good governance and professionalism, values exemplified by the late Sir Remi Omotosho.

Ogun State Governor, Mr. Dapo Abiodun, lauded Falowo’s exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence. He described the anniversary as a celebration of “tenacity, faith, and fortitude,” praising Greenwich Group’s consistent management of human and financial resources.

Greenwich Merchant Bank’s MD, Mr. Benson Ogundeji, extended heartfelt thanks to distinguished guests, top executives, and customers. He attributed the company’s success to its visionary leadership, committed staff, and shareholders’ support, emphasizing the celebration’s significance as a milestone of growth and resilience.
