Marking two years in office, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has called on residents to focus on the state’s development rather than be distracted by political events in other states such as Edo, Ondo, and Ekiti.
The governor made the remarks during a novelty football match commemorating his administration’s second anniversary. The match, held between the state executive council and the Osun State House of Assembly, ended in a 1-0 victory for the executive team.
Governor Adeleke highlighted his administration’s commitment to continuity, emphasizing that no projects initiated by previous administrations had been abandoned.
“I’m the first Osun Governor who hasn’t abandoned previous administrations’ projects. Governance is a continuous process, and we’ve allowed contractors to continue with quality work,” he said.
