Osimhen, who has scored an impressive 76 goals in 133 games for Napoli, played a crucial role in their 2022–23 Serie A title victory, netting 26 goals. However, after a summer transfer saga that left him isolated from the Italian squad, he has agreed to spend the season with Galatasaray.
According to breaking news from 9am News Nigeria, Osimhen has requested that Napoli modify his contract to allow for a potential move in either January or the summer. The terms of the loan are described as a “dry” loan, meaning there are no obligations or options for a permanent transfer. Additionally, a January break clause is included, which could enable Osimhen to leave Istanbul if a long-term deal meeting Napoli’s demands is reached.
The reigning CAF Player of the Year, who has been training individually throughout the summer, will undergo a medical on Tuesday. It appears that galatasaray has made all arrangements and Osimhen is expected to fly to Istanbul on Monday night.
