The nominees for the prestigious Women’s Ballon d’Or, Coach of the Year, and Club of the Year awards have been announced. These accolades will be presented on Monday, 28 October, at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris. This event marks the first collaboration between UEFA and Groupe Amaury, owners of France Football and L’Équipe, since their partnership was announced last year to co-organize the Ballon d’Or from 2024.

The Ballon d’Or, awarded by France Football since 1956, is the highest honor a footballer can achieve, celebrating outstanding performances and exceptional talent. The 68th edition of this awards ceremony will be held at the grand Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris.

The 2024 Ballon d’Or Awards will feature:

  • Men’s Ballon d’Or Awards
  • Women’s Ballon d’Or Awards
  • Kopa Trophy (Best Player Under 21)
  • Yashin Trophy (Best Goalkeeper)
  • Men’s Club of the Year Trophy
  • Women’s Club of the Year Trophy
  • Men’s Coach of the Year Trophy (new)
  • Women’s Coach of the Year Trophy (new)
  • Gerd Müller Trophy (Top Scorer of the Previous Season)

The nominees include 30 for the Men’s Ballon d’Or and Women’s Ballon d’Or, 10 for the Yashin Trophy, and 10 for the Kopa Trophy. New additions to the award lineup are the Men’s and Women’s Coach of the Year Trophies, recognizing the critical role of coaches in their teams’ successes.
