The much-anticipated comedy-drama Everybody Loves Jenifa is already making waves as it sells out its UK premiere ahead of its December 20 release. This milestone was announced by international distributors, Nile Media Entertainment, via their Instagram page.
“Yayyyyy, Everybody Loves Jenifa December 20th UK premiere is SOLD OUT. Congratulations @funkejenifaakindele, congratulations Jenifans. But, more screens have been added,” the post read.
Nile Media Entertainment has acquired rights for the film’s theatrical distribution across six continents, while FilmOne Entertainment retains local distribution rights in Nigeria. An innovative voucher system, “Atlas by Reach,” allowed fans to secure tickets in advance, ensuring massive anticipation for the film.
The movie officially hit Nigerian cinemas on December 13 and promises an unforgettable experience filled with humor and nostalgia, building upon the beloved Jenifa franchise.
Star-Studded Cast
The film sees the return of fan-favorite characters played by Falz, Omotunde ‘Lolo’ Adebowale-David, and Olayode Juliana. New faces such as Chimezie Imo, Layi Wasabi, Bisola Aiyeola, Jackie Appiah, and Omowunmi Dada add fresh energy to the narrative.
