This appointment follows the departure of former Ajax winger Finidi George, who left the Super Eagles without a coach after a short tenure.
Who is Bruno Labbadia?
Labbadia, who enjoyed an exciting playing career as a striker, played for several top teams, including FC Kaiserslautern, Werder Bremen, and Bayern Munich. During his career, he earned two caps for Germany and won both the DFB-Pokal with FC Kaiserslautern and the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich before retiring in 2003.
Furthermore, Transitioning seamlessly into coaching, the 58-year-old Labbadia has managed only German clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen, Hamburger SV, and Wolfsburg.
