Nigerian R&B star and politician, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has relocated to the United States with his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child. Banky W made the announcement on social media, revealing that the move was to pursue a Master’s degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Accompanying the post was a photo of the family at the airport, with Banky W expressing excitement about this new chapter in their lives. In his Instagram caption, he wrote, “For family. For finding purpose. For the next year of earning a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Wish us well.”
Banky W, born in the United States, tied the knot with Adesua in 2017. Despite his forays into politics, contesting for the Eti-Osa Federal Constituency seat in Lagos multiple times, he has not yet secured a win. This academic pursuit marks another significant step in his journey of personal and professional growth.
