Arsenal have reportedly joined North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the battle to sign Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze this summer.

According to The Sun, the Gunners have already opened talks with representatives of the England international, signalling serious intent to rival Spurs for the 26-year-old’s signature.

Eze, widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s standout midfielders, enjoyed a stellar season for Palace, playing a pivotal role in their historic FA Cup triumph. His goal secured a famous 1–0 win over Manchester City, delivering the Eagles their first-ever major trophy.

Since his arrival at Selhurst Park from Queens Park Rangers in 2020, Eze has scored 34 goals and provided 23 assists in 146 Premier League appearances numbers that have made him one of the league’s most creative forces.

With interest mounting, both Arsenal and Tottenham will need to meet Palace’s reported £68 million valuation if they want to land the midfielder this transfer window.

Eze’s form and versatility have made him a priority target for top clubs aiming to strengthen their midfield options. His ability to carry the ball, break defensive lines, and contribute goals has earned him widespread praise.

While neither club has made an official bid, talks are understood to be progressing behind the scenes.

If a move materialises, Eze would become one of the most expensive signings in Palace’s history and a significant investment for whichever side wins the race.
