Anonymous: My friend cheated on her husband

Good afternoon, Ogasabi. Please keep me anonymous. My friend got married last year, and although I didn’t know her husband personally, she and I were very close. Recently, my friend cheated on her husband and keeps involving me by sharing all the details. I don’t know how to tell her that I am not interested in hearing such stories.

I feel so sorry for her husband because he is a nice man. The one time my friend cheated that I am aware of, she really enjoyed it and plans on continuing. I feel guilty because she spent almost a month with the guy she cheated with, and I don’t think he knew she was married.

I’m torn about whether to tell her husband. He was out of town for three months, and the cheating happened while he was away. I don’t want to make my friend sad, and I don’t think I owe her husband any loyalty. Ogasabi, should I tell him?
