MultiChoice Nigeria officially announces the much-awaited return of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) for its historic 10th season, set to premiere across two thrilling nights on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, 2025.
This milestone big brother naija season promises 10 weeks of intense drama, strategic gameplay, and non-stop entertainment, culminating in a grand finale on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
Auditions for BBNaija Season 10 ran from May 3rd to May 7th, 2025, drawing thousands of hopefuls nationwide. Shortlisted candidates then faced rigorous in-person auditions in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu from May 16th to May 18th a process designed to unearth Nigeria’s most vibrant and charismatic personalities.
The iconic Ebuka Obi-Uchendu will return as host, steering fans through every twist and eviction. For this landmark edition, MultiChoice has raised the stakes with the biggest cash prize in the show’s history a whopping N150 million awaits the last housemate standing.
Speaking at the announcement, Busola Tejumola, Executive Head, General Entertainment, MultiChoice Group, described the season as more than just another show:
“Today we are not just announcing another season, we are celebrating a legacy. BBNaija has become a cultural force connecting Africa and the diaspora through authentic stories and homegrown entertainment.”
Fans can watch the two-night premiere on Africa Magic Showcase, Family, and Showmax at 7 PM WAT on both nights. As always, the 24/7 live stream will run on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49, plus on-demand via Showmax.
The weekly Sunday live eviction shows will also air exclusively on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv Channel 151, GOtv Channel 8) and Africa Magic Family (DStv Channel 154, GOtv Channel 7).
