Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has named Taiwo Fasoranti as the Secretary to the Government of Ondo State (SSG), just hours after being sworn in as governor. This was confirmed in a statement released on Monday by Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the governor.
Fasoranti, who hails from Akure South Local Government Area, previously served as the Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board before his new appointment.
Key Reappointments in Ondo State Cabinet
Governor Aiyedatiwa has also reappointed two key officials:
- Kayode Ajulo (SAN) – Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice
- Omowunmi Isaac – Commissioner for Finance
Additionally, the governor approved the reappointment of four Special Advisers, including:
- Engr. Johnson Alabi – Special Adviser on Power
- Dr. Seun Osamaye – Special Adviser on Women Affairs
- Comrade Bola Taiwo – Special Adviser on Union Matters & Special Duties
- Prof Simidele Odimayo – Special Adviser on Health
Furthermore, Abiola Olawoye, previously serving as Senior Special Assistant on Infrastructure, Lands, and Housing, has been elevated to Special Adviser in the same capacity.
Furthermore, Governor Aiyedatiwa urged all appointees to immediately begin work, ensuring efficient service delivery to the people of Ondo State.
“All the appointments take immediate effect,” the Chief Press Secretary stated.
Also, With these strategic appointments, Governor Aiyedatiwa is setting the tone for his administration, ensuring continuity and strengthening governance in Ondo State.
