MRS Oil Lowers Petrol Price To N935 Per Litre Across Stations

In the spirit of Yuletide MRS Oil crashes petrol prices across all stations following a new partnership with Dangote refinery.
MRS N935 Per Litre

MRS Oil has lowered its price of petrol to N935 per litre at all its stations across Nigeria. This price cut happened following a deal between the oil marketing giant and Dangote Refinery, which is now selling them fuel at a reduced price of N899.50 per litre.

To ensure compliance with the new price across all their stations, MRS Oil has set up a tracking system to track prices at the point of retail across all their stations. They have also urged their customers to assist by reporting any stations charging more than N935 per litre. An official statement released by MRS Oil read

“Petrol is now being sold at N935 at MRS Filling Stations nationwide. If you find any station not following this price, please report it.”

“We call on all petrol station owners to join MRS Oil Nigeria Plc in improving the supply chain of our beloved country, ensuring product quality and availability in every corner of Nigeria for the benefit of all Nigerians.” it added.

Public Opinion On Price Slash

As noticed by 9am News Nigeria, the new pricing has already taken effect in MRS stations across states in Nigeria. There have been many people seen queuing up to buy petrol at MRS stations. Many customers have expressed delight buying quality petrol petrol at reduced prices.

Mrs Yetunde George, a customer at the MRS station at Ajah, Lagos state expressed her satisfaction saying “I am very happy today. This is a victory for Nigeria, the price reduction is the best gift of the season. But beyond just the reduction, we are buying standard, eco-friendly petrol at a lower rate. My husband and I have decided we will only be using MRS from now on because we are confident in the quality of the product and supporting the economy.”

A transport worker Sadiq Rasak described the price reduction as a good news. He said it will bring reduction in transportation costs and benefit Nigerians. “God will continue to bless Alhaji Aliko Dangote”, he prayed.

Tunde Akanji, a public affairs commentator and university lecturer stated that “this move will not only help ease the financial burden on Nigerians but also promote a more environmentally conscious approach to fuel consumption, benefitting both the economy and public health in the long term”.
